double reconstruction with lat dorsi

Hi Lisa, Deciding on a reconstruction is always difficult. You are doing the right things by asking. Also if you join the Reconstruction group you will be able to message ladies who have gone through lots of different types. With Lat dorsi, I was worried about upper back ache as I am already weak in that area. I have met 2 people with upper back ache following this procedure, and many who have no issues. I have had bilateral implants following tissue expanders, and am pretty happy with the results. The most natural type of recon is definitely the DIEP or TRAM, but it is also a large operation and not everyone is suitable or wants to go through something that extreme. If you join the reconstruction group, there are photo stories in there where many ladies have posted photos of their various types of reconstruction.
