Hi Sherver, its been almost 2 years since my first reconstruction operation. I had a couple of breast conserving surgeries that we very manageable and the wounds limited to the breasts. With TRAM the biggest difficulty is the tummy area which was a good few weeks until I could walk upright or sleep flat. Its a big recovery compared to implants. I didnt have prior tummy surgery so cant really compare that.
