Diep Flap

I'm recovering at home from left breast Diep reconstruction surgery. I didn't realise how big the operation would be or how tiring. The surgery was excellent but being monitored every 30 minutes for the first 24 hours and then every hour for several days, really took it out of me. It's now 4 weeks since the operation and I'm beginning to feel better but I'm wondering when I can go swimming, or wear a bra, I wasn't given any advice after the hospital. At the moment my new breast is larger than the right one,  but I'm confident that after a while it will settle. Prior to this operation my mastectomy scar was very uncomfortable but since this surgery I don't have the pain anymore and it's like a comfortable cushion, so I'm glad I went ahead with it.  :)
