reconstruction can be such a difficult time and you have experienced so much already. Di is great to have referred you to the private breast reconstruction group. Private so we can share images and stories safely and privately.

You will find many stories of women who have had similiar fears and some incredibley inspiring stories and images to help you. Some members are having surgery around the same time as you and this can also be incredibly supportive.
You worries about being selfish seems to be a common response, as a woman, a mother and a wife many of us feel we shouldnt be taking this time for ourselves, but I know for me i needed to do that as a part of my healing and ultimately that is better for the family. There is some conversation about this kind of thing on the blog also that we can link you with.
I really feel for you at this time, you might also find some members near you that you could hook up with which can also help. If you let us know where you are we can help you in that way too. I hope you join us.
