DIEP Flap reconsruction

Had my DIEP flap reconstruction on my left breast on 11th June 2015 with 5 days in hospital also another fill on my right side of 150ml bringing it to a total of 1330ml with a couple of fills to go. Getting very uncomfortable I feel it is too big as I wanted to go smaller but the plastic surgeon said you have to keep in proportion with your body so I have left it up to him. He had said they need to do another couple of fills so they can get some droop in this side to match up with my DIEP Flap that sits a lot lower. So am very lopsided at the moment. Had a small set back with a small hole opening up inside my DIEP Flap where some tissue has died more surgery on the 30th June with a debridement then vac pump fitted for 5 days. Sent home with antibiotics and gauze to fill hole so it heals from the inside out. Also lots of sun and salt water. Ended up with bacteria in Flap and wound on stomach caused by tank water. The PS has said it will probably take up to four weeks for the hole in Flap to heal. I am due back to work on the 27th July and hopefully it will be almost healed by then. I still have my stomach drain in and its just over four weeks I still have a lot of fluid in my stomach and look very bloated at times they have taken out fluid from under my left arm and from by stomach a couple of times. I am totally over the drain and find it the worst to deal with I was the same when I had my double mastectomy in September and had the two drains in. Can't wait for it to come out but know it is necessary.  Hoping to have every thing completed by Xmas.
