- paulagMemberHello, I am 4 weeks post surgery. Two years ago I had a mastectomy. Did chemo and had radiation. Also had all lymph nodes taken. I had last dorsi and I can say I have had no problems. Yes it is sore. Yes it was very sore. I also had a skin sparing mastectomy of the other boob at the same time, and a scarless lat dorsi that side. I am sure it will all be worth it in the end. I am in WA so cannot help with surgeons or hospitals. I think the main thing is to get adequate pain relief which then enables you to do your physio exercises (groan) and then the healing is better if you can control it. I didn't for a little bit, but do now. Fire away any questions you might have. Paula x
- ChorsellMemberThere is a breast reconstruction online group that you may find beneficial..... Just search for it in groups and request membership.... There is a heap of info and women who share their experiences as there are so many options and different procedures. It can be overwhelming... Let me know if you can't find it Chris
