Well this is it.Night before change over surgery to my softer breast prosthesis. We drove the 500k to Adelaide today, day after my sister's 60th birthday tea where I drank far too much red wine and ate a lot of deliscious food. I stayed up to hydrate and was feeling a bit squeemish and took a phenergan as I could feel a migraine coming on also. It worked. Nausea settled. Headache gone and a spectacular sleep ...well nearly the whole day, lol. Still catching up on drinks.Goodbye to the Silicone shells filled with water that feel like plastic easter egg molds sewn into my chest.I have got used to them surprisingly but am hoping for a little more comfort from my softees.I'm last on the list so hoping my surgeon is feeling super fit. It's going to be a long day.Kath

Onto the next stage - your surgeon will be brilliant - pray that he has a great night sleep and arrives refreshed and ready to weave his brilliance tomorrow. The party was night before the big drive..lol. Good way not to be worrying about the surgery. My last time was my Farwell boobie party day before tbe drive. Still thinking about a welcoming party for newbies.

Yes, isn't it soooo cold in the pre-op/admissions area ?
Hope you remained warm, the personal massager on your legs did it's job and you had a restful sleep last night.

Nope...just looked up the code...it is a round but so far looks the same. Weird. Full projection...but just looks like the teardrop expander to me.

Restless sleep but feel fine. Have been out of bed since 7...my back kills me if I lay too long flat. So up, breakie, shower and so far only panadol required as this was very minor surgery to the last time round and No drains required ...woohoo as surgeon didn't need to fiddle. 48 hours in hospital just because of infection risk and new guidelines with tissue expanders. Looks like he stayed with teardrop shape as per expanders.
