Breast implant rupture and replacement
Hi Everyone,
Happy Easter! I hope you are all enjoying some happy times with family and friends over the Easter break.
Im just wondering if anyone out there has had a breast implant rupture? Last Saturday I went for my routine ultrasound check up and they found I had an intracapsular rupture of the implant in my left breast. My reconstruction surgery was 6 years ago and I must admit I was a bit devastated to find out that I have to have surgery to replace it already.
I have been having problems with that side for quite some time but assumed it was from scar tissue and the muscle. The breast has increased in size and is out of shape. I'm booked for surgery on the 5th April. More surgery... blah ??
Would love to hear fro anyone who has had issues with implants.

Happy Easter to you. Are you part of the breast reconstruction group? You may like to share your post into that private group as well to see if there have been any members that have had issues with their implants.
