@Spiv1803 I have just driven for the first time this week at 6 weeks post op. I probably could have driven a week earlier but not any earlier than 5 weeks as it was too sore and every time I turned slightly, reached or flexed my right boob would have a sharp pulling pain. After it "pulls" a few times my whole boob would really ache. This went on for a while.
Hopefully yours is different because if it wasnt doing the pulling thing(the nurse thinks it was my stiches pulling or bag sitting on a nerve) I think I would have been able to drive around 3 weeks probably. Then last Thursday it stopped.
They still hurt now but not enough to stop you doing stuff, I just take panadol & neurofen but I still cant do everything normally with my arms. Sometimes its frustrating but I can see improvement every day.
You will do just fine- Its Much easier than Chemo!!
