Thanks for comment nefertari. Deep down I think I have to accept this could be nerve pain which also could be long term As I explained In my post I did have nerve pain in both breasts post surgery which was at an almost unbearable level. Good now I have a comparison with my left breast which is pain free. I am not worried it is something cancer related as figure I should be clear post surgery and radio atm. I suppose I am hoping it is still radio recovery or even nerves knitting together post surgery. I also want to understand if this is rare or common. My surgeon and oncologist seem to think the nerve pain I did have In both breasts was rare. The BC nurse said it is still early days. If I have to have this permanently I need to try and accept this and not allow it colour my life. I had nerve pain induced cluster headaches for 5 years so clearly I have a sensitive nerve system. Yes ‘shell shocked never underestimate the power of the brain.
