Wow 25 years. I had silicone implants Sept. 2015. I've had my last appointment with the PS. He doesn't want to see me for 15 years unless I have a problem. 15 years to have them replaced as that's the recommended time so really surprised your was 25 years. (Maybe something to do with the rupture) I'll be 69 years old when they're due to be replaced. My PS has done the most amazing job... So I'm cancer free and have amazing reconstructed breasts. Best outcome I could have hoped for... Asking all the right questions and getting to make informed decisions about your treatment and options available are really important, I did and feeling great about the results. I hope to be posting here in 25 years too!!!
