Greetings Ladies from a very warm and now humid Kimberley.
Many many thanks for your very warm birthday wishes. They are so valued. Gumnut, I loved the virtual birthday cake and so did my hips!

There was no wine in the fridge and in my muddle headed manner, I was not organised. I forgot!
I had a lovely quiet day spent pottering around in my sewing room and garden ( my kind of a birthday).
I don't post as much preferring to leave sage advice to those who are much wiser than me. I do, however, read daily and much appreciate the many and varied posts.
Three years ago I truely did not think I would reach this birthday. My compromised lungs prior to surgery were much more compromised post surgery. In fact four weeks after surgery I spent my birthday in hospital on oxygen fearing that it was indeed the "downhill slide".
I now look forward to the next twelve months to celebrate the big 70!
