- Susan_LindaMemberI am not a doctor but that looks good. I saw my oncologist last week and showed him my scar and his comment was that is what we see on the outside. The inside has to mend too so be patient and keep the cream and gentle massage up! All the best Sue

I'm now 8 weeks post-surgery and the scar feels a bit better most of the time, but it is drawing in tightly at times. I find that pain from the scar wakes me up a few times each night. Then a bit of Moogoo and a bit of a rub and it settles, but it is annoying to have broken sleep. I'm going to try doing a few more sideways arm/shoulder stretches and see if it helps and I'm seeing the physio on Friday so maybe she'll have some ideas.

- Susan_LindaMemberMy double mastectomy scar is 4 months old. The thing I do is massage in Invite Vitamin E cream at least 3 times a day for 2 mins each time. I put on the timer on my phone to make sure it is a good massage. I swim or do Aqua aerobics most days and find it helps stretch the whole area. Lots of cream after each swim. Scar still raised and reddish in the centre it takes time.Good luck.
