I'm excited to share with everyone the findings of some research into survivorship care that BCNA have been working on, with researchers from The Mater Hospital (Sydney) and The University of Sydney. For this research, members of BCNA's Review & Survey Group were surveyed to find out their experiences of follow up care, attitudes to different models of care and whether a survivorship care plan was acceptable.

The results were very interesting and found that those who participated, were satisfied with their current level of care, but needed more emotional support, information about menopausal symptoms and oufnd the idea of a writtedn care plan appealing. To read more about the research and the results, please visit BCNA's website and feel free to share your comments below.

If you haven't heard about our Review & Survey Group and would like to know more about the group, please visit our website.

Happy reading
