New Consumer Representatives e-update
Hi everyone,
Hopefully you all received the latest Consumer Representative e-update last week. If not, please let me know and I can resend it to you.
As you may know, I'll be sending these e-updates every two months and would love any feedback or suggestions you may have.
The email contains information about some of BCNA's latest policy and advocacy work, including our submission to the Senate Community Affairs Committee regarding their Inquiry into out-of-pocket costs of health care. The submission highlights the significant financial impact a diagnosis of breast cancer may have, and includes case studies of two women, both diagnosed in December 2013, whose costs to date amount to approximately $11,700 and $12,000 respectively.
The e-update also highlights the work of three of our Consumer Representatives - Jenny Muller, Marlene Parsons and Liz Klaes!
If you'd like to include an update about your consumer representative work in an upcoming email, please don't hesitate to let me know (satt@bcna.org.au).
Hope you had a lovely weekend!
Best regards,
Lisa
(Policy Officer)
