Hi everybody,

As most of you will know October is recognised, both in Australia and internationally, as Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

October is a time to show support for women and families affected by breast cancer. October is a time to reflect. October is a time to celebrate advances in the diagnosis, treatment and management of breast cancer. October is a time to remember those lost.

October means different things to different people, and we encourage you to acknowledge it in whatever way feels right for you.

Would you like to get involved?

During October, Australia's main breast cancer organisations hold events to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. 

BCNA has around 220 registered community events throughout October. From morning tea with friends to black tie cocktail parties.

There are a number of ways you can get involved with BCNA and show your support for women, men and families affected by breast cancer.
