Well !!  200 women and men attended the Tasmanian Breast Cancer "The Ongoing Journey" conference on Saturday and Sunday. Top presenters included Professor Neil Piller (lymphoedema), Dr Nirmala Pathmanathan (pathologist) Dr Ric De Boer (oncologist) Dr Maria Popa (plastic surgeon) and the list goes on.

Rain stopped the rose garden mini field from happening so we had it inside the hotel and with the choir of 50+ voices and great acoustics it was received very well.

Marita and Daina planted the silhouettes with their emotionally worded tags on Sunday morning for all to see outside the hotel- they were a beautiful sight in the sunshine.

The evening's mystery party went off with a lot of drumming (for all) and 6 of the Hobart Dragons Abreast girls "The Boobiallas" performed several comical songs.

Many terrific comments have been made about the event and the committee are very pleased how it all went.
