I stopped into the Sussan store near me in Bateau Bay. Looked all over the store, and couldn't find any BCNA merchandise.
I asked the store personnel if they had any, and they said that they will be getting a whole bunch of it in for next week - start of October Breast Cancer Awareness month.
Both ladies at the store were aware that Sussan has raised over $1,000,000 for BNCA.
I introduced myself as the Community Liaison from BCNA, told them part of my role is to thank them, which I did. I also asked if I can help in any way next week, but they didn't think so.
For this store, at least, the procedure is for merchandise to be scheduled and delivered from corporate supply chains, and they don't carry BCNA merchandise all year - only during October.
I told them I would stop in next week and see the display. Altogether a very pleasant visit.
