Hi, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2022. I have since had a double bilateral mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, completed in late 2023. I am looking for a tattoo artist who is able to create a chest tattoo that will cover the scarring. Preferably on the Gold Coast in QLD, but am happy to travel if there are recommendations elsewhere. Thank you in advance.

    Hi, I was diagnosed in 2020 and had double mastectomy, flat closure (so no reconstruction). I have just recently had a chest cover up tattoo with an amazing tattooist located in Sydney. I am on the Gold Coast but travelled to Sydney to have it done with Enku Shoji at Lighthouse Tattoo Botany. He is well worth the time and effort to travel to Sydney to have the work done. I have never had a tattoo previously and after meeting Enku to discuss the design ideas for scar coverage I knew I was in professional and safe hands. Prior to having the tattoo I would avoid showering with the light on or letting my husband of 30+ years see me without a shirt on and hated clothes shopping and looking at my scars in the change room mirrors. This tattoo has changed all of that. He is on instagram (@enkutattoo, Facebook or enkutattoo.com.
