Felt achy all over then temp went up. I am now in the slammer. Hopeful for an early release tomorrow. Bloods show no infection.

Temp down. No beds available. I offered to go home. They said no. Currently in ED in separate room due to being immunocompromised.

Oh @Blossom1961 I hope you are ok now and get out of there today.  Nothing worse than hanging out in hospital. Fingers crossed your oncologist releases you. Sending a hug to you

Thats a bummer @Blossom1961. Do hope the Oncologist lets you leave. Pity it happened on the weekend. Though thats the norm isn’t it.
Hopefully its something simple thats caused it.
    Best of luck.

Glad you got released.   Keep an eye on your temp.  As painful as it is hospital was probably a good call.   Did they say it was covid at all.  I'm seeing a lot of patients where I work coming in with covid.  There is a lot out there.

Glad you are home again, @Blossom1961 xx. I hope your temp remains stable xx  Yep, Definitely worth getting checked out with high temps & feeling crook in general xx. Essential, really.

Yep, as @Locksley says, there is lots of covid in our community again just now too.  Specially with everyone getting together now for Xmas gatherings.   I met up with buddies 2 weeks ago & one later tested positive to Covid - luckily no-one else got it tho.  Did they even test you?

    take care xx

Swabbed, bloods, xray, wee’d. No viral activity, no infection, lungs clear. I am now completely drained.

Fever back up this morning. Onco says tests aren’t always accurate and that my white cells are saying something is brewing. He put me on antibiotics and let me go home with the promise I will ring if I develop other symptoms or temp skyrockets. Just took temp, back to normal 36.5. Cancelled my treatment for tomorrow. Too many health things happening. Onco supported this decision with relief. Chest CT within next seven days
