Later this year, we need to move the Online Network to a new platform as part of a wider project to improve our online resources.
To help us make the best decisions around functionality, processes, look and feel, and more, we invite you to complete a short, anonymous survey.
All questions are optional and you can use any device: Online Network user survey. The survey closes at the end of Monday 27 May.Next month we will let you know the results of the survey and give you information about the change. If you have any questions please contact the Project Manager Tamsin Stanford tstanford@bcna.org.au

Hi guys
The survey that Mez has mentioned - finishes next MONDAY, so try & get in there & get it done before then! .... I'd strongly encourage everyone to jump onboard and do this survey asap, whether you are new to the forum, or an old hand at it! There are a lot of questions where your valuable input will help shape the future of the forum over the next decade - like KEEPING all our existing threads & posts (not cutting off any that are older than 5 years!) as there is a LOT of relevant information in the older posts and a lot of history too!
You can have your say on ANYTHING that you think could be improved on in the forum or even that has annoyed you in recent times. ... either by suggesting adding it or removing it! It can be something that 'bugs you' ..... like more pics of men in the overall 'photo links' - but particularly on that FRONT page, where it is 3 women looking at a computer on the 'Home' page - when one of them could easily have been a male ... We need to make men feel that they are INCLUDED as they too get Breast Cancer ...
Or a link to the Online Community on the Home Page too (click on the pink lady ... there is no mention of the Online Community!)
It could be about the need for consultation with members before implementing any changes that affects members, eg removing the right to have the dragonfly added to your profile after you've passed away .... or it could be about the need for a button (that you can click on now) letting BCNA that you want BCNA members to be advised of your passing - and to keep your name and posts 'alive' (tho probably archived) after a family member advises BCNA of your passing. So you need to let your family/executor of your will to be aware of these requests! You should also be able to choose whether to have the Dragonfly added to your profile or not, as a show of respect & caring ....
I also reckon we need a separate category for Breast Cancer Trials ... where ALL of them can be noted in the ONE SPOT. Then, members who are ON THEM can also discuss them with members in a dedicated area. We don't have them in a 'single area' yet and it is almost impossible to find them ANYWHERE on the net that have all of them in the one spot! There are more 'coming online' all the time too - so it is in our best interests to 'see them' - to alert our Oncs to them, too, in case THEY aren't aware of them.
The more of us that fill in the survey, the better it will be, going forward for the forum!
Be loud, be heard!
take care & all the best

It should be noted that some longer term members have very important background information which newer BCNA staff may not be aware of, so if you mention a subject please remember to give them the background.
All comments help them and prevents them from upsetting people by doing what members see as the wrong thing.
If you feel strongly about an issue then make the time to speak with Mez or Tamsin so they do understand the issues at hand.
