Side effects after stopping tamoxifen after 10yrs

Has anyone come off tamoxifen after 10 years? What symptoms did you experience after stopping 10 years?
I am 47 and stopped tamoxifen in April. My period has come back and with it a heaps of symptoms I had either forgotten or not previously experienced.
Main thing is breast soreness in my non-cancer side. I don’t remember my breasts being sore like this with my period before cancer. Is this just because my body hasn’t “seen” oestrogen in ten years? I’m going to wait until after my next period then call my surgeon and ask.
