Hi All,

I have just joined and would like to see if anyone knows if there is somewhere I can donate 2 x mastectomy bra's - they were my Aunties - 1 used and the other new - I know that these bra's can be expensive so happy to donate.
Any suggestions would be great - I live in Brisbane but happy to post .

They can definitely be donated. I'm in SA. A lady here providing a mobile service, took some I was given, but that didn't suit me.
She has contacts, and some are sent overseas to Asia and Fiji.
I wish I new somewhere close to you.
I'm sure someone else here will answer your question.

Hi @Karenburg  I gave my unused  back to the Breast Nurse at the hospital who fitted me as I couldn’t wear it after surgery due to swelling for a long time
She was really happy to reuse it because the Berlei  ones are $70!

I tried to return mine today to breast care nurse but as I’d removed the tags she couldn’t take it.  Anyone who, gets a berlei bra  before surgery  perhaps think of not cutting off the tags till you know you’ll be using it for sure.

I’ve advertised it’s availability with our local breast cancer group , and failing that , I’ve been told our local mastectomy bra shop /specialist will take,it and donate to,ladies in Fiji affected by breast cancer .

Heck , that’s a bit rough, I wouldn’t knock back something new if it was missing tags!

Good on you though, you are going to a lot of trouble.  SOMEONE must want it!
