Hi All,

Just joined this group and keen to hear from people to see how they are supporting their partners with breast cancer, as well as coping themselves.

My wife has just completed chemo and radiotherapy, I couldn't be any prouder of how she has coped with everything. Now we are focussed on her getting back to full health and fitness again.

I am about to begin some counselling through Cancer SA, I think I need to talk to someone about what we have been through and help to move forward now.

Joining this group and speaking to people with similar experiences is something I'm looking forward to as well.

Send a message anytime.

Mark

Hey Mark! :)  Just wanted to say hi, and welcome, I'm glad you found the online network.

We do have some partners groups here, have you found those yet?  There's a public Partner Support group which is here: http://www.bcna.org.au/group/22285. And also a 'For the Boys' group for male partners, here: http://www.bcna.org.au/group/12257 (it's private, so you'll need to click the 'request membership' link if you want to participate).

Hope that helps.  Just ask if you have any questions or need a hand finding your way around (the Help page has some useful links, too, if you're interested).

    Welcome again!
