We hold our mini field day on Breast Cancer Day in October.  In the past our ladies have met for morning tea - the theme of the day being pink - and walked down the main street to the park by the lake holding our pink ladies.  After a short ceremony we plant our pink ladies in a heart shape which has been sprayed on the grass earlier that morning.  There is an air of excitment and fun about the day.  We leave the pink ladies there all day for maximum exposure to the public.

This year we are going to meet at the park and after a short ceremony - plant our pink ladies.  One of our members died earlier this year so we will plant a white lady in memory of her.  We will then return to the local bowling club (our monthly meeting place) for lunch - just members and invited guests.  Our Group will wear our new pink polo shirts embroidered with our logo.
