Hello girls, Happy New Year to you all,

I hope that you all had a lovely Christmas whatever you did.

We're now well into 2016 and its time for our first dinner.  A booking has been made for Friday night 29 January 2016 at The Blue Gums Hotel,  345 Hancock Road,  Fairview Park 5126 - phone 8251 1588 for 7.00pm.

If you would like to come along for some friendship, chatter, laughs and support please RSVP to this page by Close of Business on Wednesday 27 January.  The Blue Gums have a policy of if there are more than 15 people in your party then a deposit of $5 per head is required.  I have been able to get them to forego this for us, however its important that we give them final numbers in advance.

As its just after Australia Day what about we all try for an Aussie Theme of sorts.  So get out your Aussie Flags and Tee Shirts and show how proud you are to be alive and well.

Hi Sue, sorry for the late reply - just been forgetting to check this site.  Yes we do have dinners/lunches down south - in fact we try to go to different suburbs around Adelaide. The next lunch is at the Lakes Resort at West Lake which I realize isn't down south - but then this will be followed by dinner on the 26 February at Café Primo - Morphett Vale. A full list of dates and venues are published in our Chat Room.

If you are not already a member of our "Closed Chat Room", just go to our public site on Facebook - Adelaide Breast Cancer Friendship Group and then if you send a Private Message - this will be picked up within a day - you will then receive a P/M just requesting confirmation of your diagnosis and upon receipt of this response you will be admitted to our Private Close Chat Room where all the girls chat about their various treatment and diagnosis.  We now have 301 members mainly from South Australia but some from interstate and overseas.  The one stipulation is that our chat room is for women only and no men are allowed.  You will find the group very supportive and will make lots of friends through the group.

Hope this helps and look forward to seeing you in the Chat room or at one of the dinners.
