I facilitate the Breast Reconstruction Online Group where we have had up to 30 people pending membership during the last few months. To become a member of this group you must leave us a short message about you and why you want to join. This allows us to welcome you and support you with relevant information and contacts. It also allows us to know a little bit about the members of our group and who we are sharing our very personal experiences and images with.
We have had some people pending for many weeks and have been unsuccessful in receiving a response to our several messages. BCNA have now provided a message box so when the join button is clicked to prompt you to leave the required message. This should smooth the process of joining the group significantly and get new members with the information they need more quickly.
I have taken the action today to remove the pending members. This is nothing personal but if you have had your membership denied then this is the reason, you are very welcome to request again using the new function.
