Welcoming new members to the group

Hi DanielleS, I had my lumpectomy last week with sentinel nodes also removed. Returned to my surgeon today and now have my referral to an oncologist. As my BC is early (but a stage 2 tumour), HER negative but hormone positive he thinks I may be a candidate for brachytherapy - in addition to hormone therapy. Has anyone had brachytherapy? What should I expect? At the moment I am not looking forward to my breast having more more things inserted into it! Still raw, sore and taking the whole situation in. Thanks :-)
