Hi ALB2015. I'm sorry you're having a hard time navigating the site. I'll try to shed some light on how to find the information you're looking for.
There are two search features and they pull results from different places.
The search bar at the upper right pulls info from the website, but not the online network.
The search bar at the top of the posts in the online network returns results from the online network.
You can also browse the topic index.
Tags, which appear at the bottom of posts, can also be clicked on and it will show all the posts that have that tag.
Blogs are a bit confusing here because they're not blogs in the true sense of the word; they're really just posts that are not made to groups. Depending on your privacy settings, they may appear in the public feed or may be visible only to you or you and your friends. Collectively, they also appear in your profile.
