Denise Newton, one of BCNA's fabulous Community Liaison's, was recently featured in a special edition of the Australian Women's Weekly.
Denise, of the Blue Mountains NSW, was interviewed and photographed for the article in Australian Women's Weekly Health magazine. The article featured four women who'd overcome major health challenges and found positives from the experience.
Denise looks gorgeous in the article and speaks openly about her breast cancer experience, referring to her surgery scars as 'badges of honour'.
Unfortunately the article isn't available online but the magazine is in newsagents now.
