BCNA is launching our State of the Nation report on 20 June which many of you would have contributed to. The report is the result of more than 10,000 surveys completed by BCNA members and 3,500 face-to-face consultations around the country and highlights the gaps in breast cancer treatment and care across the country.
We are looking for women who are willing to talk to media about their experiences and are ok with being recorded or filmed regarding the topics below (as you can see we have some pretty specific requirements!):

Lymphoedema

- Women who have had to pay a lot of money to get lymphoedema treatment in the private system
- Women who have had a lack of information about lymphoedema
- Willing and able to have their affected arm/area photographed
- Centrally located - Any state or territory
Financial disclosure
- Someone with large (greater than $10k) costs who did not know about them beforehand – ‘bill shock’
- Someone who almost had a large cost BUT was advised by their Dr/health fund/BCNA etc and were able to avoid these costs
- Someone with a large cost (documented) that built up over time and was not disclosed to them
- Centrally located - Ideally WA or SA
