Just thought I'd let you know about an information session coming up in Sydney in October for women diagnosed with breast cancer and the women who support them.
You are warmly invited to hear eminent medical oncologist Professor Fran Boyle talk about how everyone can take the best care of their own needs as they support each other.
Come with your daughter, mother, aunt, niece, or friend, or come on your own – you are most welcome either way.
One of the aims of the event is to see if there is interest in establishing an informal network of Sydney women with breast cancer and their family members/friends so you can share stories and support each other.
We’d also like to hear your thoughts and ideas to help us better understand the needs of family members of women with breast cancer, so we can better support them.
The information session will be hosted at Swaab Attorneys by managing partner Mary Digiglio, the daughter of a BCNA member. We expect the event to be well attended so please register as soon as you can.
