I'm sure that I'm not alone in finding that Christmas approaches with increasing speed each year. It sure does provide an opportunity for reflection on the past year and to start thinking about the next. But first there is Christmas get togethers and family catch ups.
For many it's a really busy and fun time but for others it may be a painful reminder of those who are missing from the Christmas table or experiencing a separation from those close to them.

My husband John and my children, James and Maddy and I are spending Christmas Day with two of my three brothers and their families in Melbourne. I am looking forward to lots of great food and some laughs.
I hope BCNA members and their families get the chance to have a celebration or two with your loved ones. In doing so we can reflect on another year of life experience and the ups and downs that come with it. Hopefully more ups than downs.
Very best wishes to you all for Christmas and a safe happy holiday period.
Maxine and everyone at BCNA.
