Okay everyone........ we have some VERY exciting news to share with you. Breast Cancer Network Australia is thrilled to introduce the Community Champions Program, celebrating the amazing members who make the Online Network such a supportive, welcoming and connected place for people affected by breast cancer. π π Starting NOW , every comment you make in the Online Network during July will count towards becoming BCNA's first Community Champion! π π How does it work? At the beginning of next month, the BCNA moderation team will review engagement from the previous calendar month. The person who has shared the most helpful comments for other members, will be that month's champion. Please note that we will be reviewing comments, and will require that the information has been helpful or supportive, not simply the number of comments. The person who has made the most helpful comments during the month will receive a beautiful First Class Hampers gift hamper! πβ¨ The winner will be contacted privately in the first couple of weeks of the following month via email and Online Network private message. π Why are we doing this? Because we know how much courage it can take to reach out for support. Whether you're newly diagnosed, navigating treatment, supporting a loved one or adjusting to life after breast cancer, connecting with others who understand can make a world of difference. We want the Online Network to continue being a safe, supportive and compassionate space where everyone feels comfortable asking questions, sharing experiences and offering encouragement. By recognising members who help create that environment, we hope to inspire even more meaningful connections across our community. Every kind word matters. Every shared experience helps. Every comment has the potential to brighten someone's day or make them feel less alone. π This will be an ongoing initiative we have designed for you to help you connect with each other. Please note a member cannot win the hamper twice within a 6-month period, and it cannot be won by a BCNA staff member. β¨ So what are you waiting for? Offer support to a recent discussion, welcome a new member, share your story or some encouragement to someone who needs it. Together, we are stronger πͺ135Views6likes3Comments
