Any info on lobular cancer in situ (LCIS) found in margins after lumpectomy
Hi, I had a lumpectomy, radiation and now on anastrozol for early grade 1 stage 2 mixed lobular and ductal breast cancer. In the margins, there were small foci of lobular cancer in situ (LCIS) - this increases your risk of breast cancer and I’m wondering whether to have a mastectomy to avoid recurrence. Has anyone had experience with LCIS ? thanks, Jenny
