Thanks so much for my birthday wishes everyone! I had a great day, and today I had lunch with my new friends I have met at the Vario health gym at ECU here in Joondalup Perth. We've been doing the course through the Cancer council and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

@TOmmy I had a temp of 38 whilst having a similar chemo docetaxel and went to ed. Ended up with pneumonia . I only had a small cough now and again. Temp wouldnt go down so was admitted for a week! Best to get things checked straight away then they can give you the right antibiotics if needed. Have you got someone who can look after your little boy, I hope so? Good luck, please get checked.💗🤗

@HOPE2013 is fsh a training hospital like Charlies? My physio has just refered me to the physio section of the hospital. It was with a student but a qualified physio was there and working on me as well. It was very good. I've also got follow up appointments for weeks ahead. I'd try and get it done through the hospital as you might need the feferal ones later. I thought under public all our treatment can be done at the hospital. Also after radiotherapy I've had to start the stretching exercises again as I couldnt do it whilst having treatment and rad is not kind! Good luck with it all. 💗🤗

@hope2013 I've just seen your post and have very sore shoulders , I had a double mastectomy. I have been blameing it on the hormone blockers that I have to take. But on going to the physio at Charles(scgh) she said my posture is bad due to protecting my wounds! So that is not helping. So its shoulders back 'chest ' out now when I remember! What hospital did you go through? I have free physio at Charles and shes really good.

Well tuesday 26th was my last chemo! The oncol decided I'd been through enough, so happy this stage is all over!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 Unfortunately the nurses thought I'd lost too much hair so wouldnt let me do cold cap. So disappointed but had to take their word for it. Went and got my hair chopped the next day to just above shoulder length as it was so untidy. Not liking it so going on tuesday to have it cut into a pixie cut. Hope it looks ok!💗🎉💗

@ Abbydog, I did my second dose with ice packs on my hands with no damage to my hands, had the cold cap too. I didnt think of my head as I'm used to it now, but the freezing fingers were very uncomfortable. I'm going to do it again on tuesday because I dont want to go through the side effects I had with the first lot. Good luck with your course, I hope you dont get any side effects like me, everyone is different. 💖xx

Hi all, Home from hospital now with more antibiotics for pneumonia. they seem to be working as my temp is normal without panadol which is great. One more side effect happening now....both of my thumb nails are lifting off! :neutral: I thought my nails were looking good , just a bit of discoloration, no such luck for me! chemo was postponed till next Tuesday so I hope I'm well enough to have it and get this finished! :smiley: xx

Dear @jennyss, Sorry to hear you had the same side effects, it was terrible wasn't it. I dont think I could have survived that same dose again! And yes my last chemo was a breeze compared to that too! Hopefully I will be the same as you and be ok with the rad and hormone therapy! I hope all is going well with you now and you've had a good recovery.💖 xx

Oh.. forgot to say I was also covered in spots over my legs arms and chest, looked like I had measles! And did get some neuropathy in my hands, when sending messages my finger would just jump onto the keyboard when i was looking for the next letter, really funny but annoying! Thankfully it is all gone now!
