Well said @Scaredycat - you have had more challenges than a lot of us, but remain strong, surround yourself with supportive, caring people & help others who are in need (your buddy with the spinal surgery.) I am glad you have a supportive partner as well - shame about the family - but sadly, it has happened to quite a few.

People who have unused Holiday Homes make them available to Breast Cancer people - all round Australia - tho most are on the east coast states. There is no cost to you other than getting there and taking your food and drinks. I am going to Thredbo with my husband & 2 brothers & their partners at the end of the month. It will be something for you to look forward to after your active treatment xx
