I had left my very busy job as a NUM in a Correctional Centre to work as an RN in mental health just prior my diagnosis to teduce my personal stress.
I did need to work part time for a good 6 months following treatment...of which I had 8 months off work.
I have a week to a view diary with me at all times....no more sticky notes. I tick things off as done.
I use my phone calendar and alarms to remind me of personal appts.
It has got much better. I do get stressed more quickly. I get tired a lot. But I can put in a full work day and mostly don't miss the important things I need to do.
Life is different after breast cancer. I try to live by tbe motto "don't sweat the small stuff" . Says it all. X
