Hey Gillian can hardly wait to finish chemo lol thus far 4 Acs 2 taxol down thus far it's bone pain with taxol but nothing compared to the AC I so want to be back at gym I think it's very strange how we all appreciate the small things now I was to wrapped up in work etc to see the simple go gal xx

Thanks for sharing your story - very similar to mine.

I stopped Taxol in June after 9 treatments due to peripheral neuropathy. Now in November I still have some numbness in fingers and toes.

Radiation finished at the end of August and I still tire easily some days. I've started a gym program (3x week) to rebuild strength and bone density which has fallen. I'm giving away my caps, beanie and scarves.

One phase is over, and another is beginning.

I'm sure you draw great comfort from your lovely animals. You need all the comfort and nurturing your team can provide. Soak it in!

Wow that is so true, our beautiful four legged friends never cease to amaze me!

I have a stumpy tail cattle dog and he has been my constant snuggle bunny and best pal since he was a puppy. About two weeks before I was diagnosed with my BC he stopped letting me pat him and didn't want to come near me, very weird behaviour for him. The next week I found the lump and since the day I came home after my lumpectomy he has again not left my side! I wonder how they know?!

Hi Anita - there's nothing like a loving, purring cat creeping up beside you and snuggling in when you're dealing with BC. My two always reminded me that things were still 'right with the world' and would eventually come right again for me, even if I was in pain and experiencing huge fears and desperation at the time. They know when you're sick or stressed, don't they. Well done with your crack feline medical team - I can just imagine the chorus of purrs when they cuddle up with you.  I just love cats they are such intelligent animals, I am epileptic and All the cats I have ever had never left my side and they always knew when something was not right so I would listen to my furry companion and I would go and rest and sometimes something would happen but my cat socks would lay at my feet while I slept and would nudge me with his wet nose occasionally to see if I was okay who said animals can't talk I miss my cats especially socks he was my shadow. I am so happy that you are feeling that the taxol is easier I have round 4 of 12 tomorrow only 8 to go after tomorrow, talk to you soon.
