Happy Head

Not sure if anyone else has been disappointed with the the head gear in the shops - (boring and expensive ) when your hair drops out. I was very lucky that the wig library at the hospital provided me with some great bandanas and turbans. One of the bandanas had a website in it and I went on-line and found the most amazing array of head gear it's in the USA but with our dollar being so favourable they are not expensive was able to buy all cotton and if you spend under $60 US the postage is only $10 and all arrived in 2 weeks. I am so happy with my parcel of 4 hats/ bandanas which arrived today all tisue paper wrapped with  pink Breast cancer bow on it!     Thanks for the compliment managed to fool you too with my wig, yes it's a good one from the Redcliffe hospital wig library. Was great to meet you all today felt a real connection with everyone despite all having different stories. Might not get a hand controlled  fan but maybe one of those hand held battery fans to be different. Looking forward to meeting again next month.

    Hey Sarah, when we met today I didn't realize you had a wig on! Wow! Looks good!  But next time - carry a fan like I do, ok? Those hot flushes are a killer when we have coffee!! Ha, ha gotta laugh, Lynx
