Back into the GP, been told to bring my toothbrush, just in case. It's not got worse, so here's hoping. I might beg for some codiene and get some sleep tonight if I'm lucky. Thanks ladies xxx

I'm hunkered down on the couch with ginger tea until 5.15 hoping things improve--Ive been given an 8 hour reprieve to see how I respond to the antibiotics. The on call GP seemed to have been worded up by the practice nurse (who knows me well) and was OK with my overnight progress and seems to understand my reluctance to go to hospital unless it's absolutely necessary. It's a coming up to a long weekend, it will be a zoo in there --full of winery walkabout warriors and minimum staff levels.

It's always on long weekends that things go pear-shaped, isn't it? I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you @Zoffiel . If positive thoughts have any sway in the universe you've certainly got a lot of those coming to you from all over the country.
