Worried.

hi all, I haven't posted in a while so I thought I would give use all an update. i finally got a appointment with a breast specialist this Friday so that is good news, I am a little worried and scared about what she will say, I have notice for the past few months as well that the area my lymoth nodes are ( near my armpit) is pretty swollen you can really tell the difference. my partner and I at first thought it was because " one breast is bigger then the other " so I kept an eye on it and it still looks swollen so I am going to talk to the specialist when I see her and see what she says. Just really nervous and it's hard trying to keep my mind occupied

  • Hey Hannah, where are you situated? Good luck with your breast surgeon...where will you be seeing them? Fingers crossed for you x
  • Thanks heaps everyone for you're comments I will keep positive and I will post again to let use know what the surgeon says xxx
  • Hi Hannah,

Yes I remember when you first posted! Has it taken you 2 months to get into a Breast Surgeon??? Gee...as Nikki said its only a few days and you'll drive yourself mad trying to guess anything honestly. Youre in the best place you can be seeing the Surgeon, they'll look at your Ultrasound and give you their opinion. You will at the very least have some direction.

Hang in there! You'll be ok. Hugs Melinda xo
  • Hi Hannah. What a scary time you're going through. I can't really offer any advice apart from don't get on Google and scare yourself until you really know what is going on! The waiting game is often the most stressful part, and it's definitely easy to work yourself up when there's so much accessible information out there. It can be both a blessing and a burden!
I'm crossing my fingers that you get good news. Keep us posted xx
  • Take care of yourself Hannah - once you've see the breast surgeon, you'll have a much clearer idea of what to expect. It's only a couple of days, so keep yourself busy. There's nothing you can do about it right now, so try and take it slowly and don't think too far ahead.

    We understand how you feel

    Take care
