I am so sorry to hear of your experience, sounds positively dreadful.
I'm guessing your Phlebotomist, is only that.
Once upon a time Phlebotomists were Registered Nurses, with a broad knowledge.
These days it is possible to do a short course. Eg TAFE Cert lll
I hope I don't get to experience the same.
My best viens are on the arm that is not to be used.
You did show brilliant control.
