Well not much has changed since you were in Derby in 1979 communication wise. We have mobile coverage of sorts. Sometimes I have to go down to the back paddock and stand on a box in the highest bit!
When the nbn comes to town I will be on satelite (Skymuster). And we are only 10kms out of town. TV is ok providing there are no thunderstorms around between Perth and here. Still I live in God's Country - could be worse.
