- anaveronicaMemberBest of luck with it all @Jual, and good on you for staying positive.
- JualMemberMy aunt was diagnosed at 57, had surgery, chemo and is still going strong at 72. Very good friend diagnosed at 39, powering along at 60. Her sister diagnosed 14 years ago, had mets later but going really well on regular Herceptin and is fit and well. Friends wife diagnosed 10 years ago incl mets, still going strong now.
I am still going through chemo and am yet to have surgery and radio but all is going well and these people give me lots of positives! - anaveronicaMember@Milly21 for asking such a good question. I've just had my second anniversary of my diagnosis (at the age of 40). Had right breast mastectomy, ancillary clearance, chemo, radiation and Herceptin. Like @Summerhill38 I think a group where long-term thrivers can post their stories is a great idea.
- Pammy46Member@adean your mum doesn’t live in Harrington nsw by any chance?

- June1952MemberHi @Milly21
Great subject for a post - perhaps BCNA could open a Group specifically so ladies can add stories of long term survival ? - Milly21MemberThanks so much for all the wonderful stories,it so good to her about all these long term survivors,it so inspiring and really lifts my heart to hear about them, women that have gone on to live long full happy lives ❤️❤️
- Jen79xMemberMy nan was diagnosed at 40 and was told she had a aggressive cancer, likely months to live. She lived cancer free until about 70 before passing of old age ❤️
