A new journey
I have just been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma with a grade 2 tumor. Doctor said that it's very early stages as it is very tiny, cannot be felt and need to have a wire inserted into the ar...
I know at least a stage 2 when I got the first biospy because it was in the nodes already. It is only after my surgery that I got the full report. Initially, we thought it was a 3 to 4 cm tumour showed up on mammogram and ultrasound. Even the drs could not feel it in the nodes. After surgery, it was a larger and 2 tumours. And with the number of nodes, it was stage 3. But my decision to go for bilateral was based on the initial biospy. And the 2 tumours were different ie ilc and idc. Sometimes I still dont believe I understand all said in the post surgery report.
Yes, it is helpful at least to have other to talk to. I needed to talk to a physocologist too in the early days. It will get better I believe once you come to some decisions and have a plan.
Do continue to stay for support.
