A new journey
I have just been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma with a grade 2 tumor. Doctor said that it's very early stages as it is very tiny, cannot be felt and need to have a wire inserted into the ar...
I have stage 3 with 11 out of 14 nodes involved. Even though it is only on the left, I chose to have both remove for my own reasons.
Be guided by your drs and ur inner self. It is not an easy decision to make. Did your surgeon run through options for you? As for me, there was not much choice as it was a quite large 70 mm and 15mm.
There will probably be others here who will come on to talk about their experience.
Take one step at a time. One thing I did was start doing some walking almost immediately after diagnosis which I believe help me through treatment process so far.
