9/7/18 Zoffiel's Birthday Today!!!!!

Thank you all.

It's been a quiet day in some ways, cold and grey this morning so I lay in bed for far too long (according to the hound who started moaning about going for a walk around 7) The phone has been ringing and I've talked to old and new fiends and family. An addition to the usual were my virtual buddies who I've spoken to but never met. Your voices are now part of my world. Fiends was not a typo.

I dragged the sewing gear out and have started making a coat. A dear friend gave me the fabric before she died 2 years ago and I've been having an attack of the guilt's about her careful fabric husbandry (?) being wasted on the inactive. Mind you, she'd been storing since the 70's so neither of us were prepared to be rushed.. The mess is bloody phenomenal. It's a long time since I ventured into new territory and cut a new pattern rather than using my well worn favourites. It takes ages. Time well spent in  quiet contemplation.
