I had a very enjoyable day with all the family at my Godfather's house in the Macedon Ranges. He cooked a delicious roast lamb lunch and organised a cake for me. SO kind and thoughtful!
Reflecting back on the last 12 months, and the stumble from a year of renovation into the hell of breast cancer, my life seems surreal, and interrupted. The toasts to a better year ahead, ones that my family have been making in vain for six years now, seem futile. But a year older is not to be sneezed at, better than the alternative. You all give me hope and I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.
A little magical something I found today:
