Hello everyone,

See message below from BCNA CEO Kirsten Pilatti.

Breast Cancer Network Australia is offering anyone with breast cancer, who has been further affected by the current bushfire crisis to contact our free Helpline for support.

‘It’s normal to feel overwhelmed by the current crisis, which can trigger increased feelings of helplessness and despair for people already affected by a breast cancer diagnosis,’ said BCNA CEO Kirsten Pilatti.

‘We urge any BCNA member experiencing additional distress as a result of the bushfires and needing support to contact the BCNA Helpline on 1800 500 258. We can help you connect with services that are in place.

‘With thanks to Berlei, we can also help women who have lost their post breast surgery bra and assist with providing access to professional care and advice.

‘BCNA is there to support all Australians affected by breast cancer, especially at times of crisis. It’s important to know they can reach out to us for any assistance we can provide.

‘We would like to acknowledge and thank all our major partners who are doing so much to help those affected,’ said Kirsten.

Fantastic.  Pleased BCNA and partners are able to assist those caught up in these horrendous fires.  It is an added burden for those members already having tough times.
